The MLS Innovator Network is an exclusive group of MLS & Association Executives who meet monthly to discuss the latest technology trends and hear pitches from two well-vetted PropTech companies. On December 4, 2024, the Network heard pitches from MyHeat and Oppy. 

 

Company #1: MyHEAT

MyHEAT presented their innovative solution that uses advanced thermal imagery and machine learning to detect heat loss and inefficiencies in residential and commercial buildings. Unlike traditional methods, MyHEAT deploys airplanes equipped with high-resolution sensors to capture precise thermal images of rooftops, producing Heat Loss Maps and Heat Loss Ratings on a scale of 1–10. The MyHEAT Hub goes further, offering aggregated regional insights, the ability to filter for energy-efficient homes, and tools to calculate potential savings from upgrades like smart thermostats or insulation. These insights can also integrate directly into MLS dashboards, equipping agents with a powerful data layer to deliver informed energy assessments, set realistic client expectations, and position properties more effectively in the market. 

By highlighting energy-efficient properties, MyHEAT empowers real estate professionals to craft compelling narratives around cost savings and comfort, adding unique value to every listing.

 

Company #2: Oppy

Oppy, presented by Founder and CEO Alex Gustafson, is an AI-powered assistant transforming customer service and real estate operations. Utilizing advanced natural language processing, Oppy provides 24/7 support for MLSs, associations, and real estate professionals, ensuring faster response times, better lead management, and greater operational efficiency.
